The Legal Intelligencer will host a General Counsel Breakfast on Tuesday, April 16, gathering the region’s in-house leaders for an interactive panel discussion of the biggest challenges facing GCs in 2013. General counsel and chief legal officers are invited to the complimentary breakfast, which will be held from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the Four Seasons Hotel, 1 Logan Square, Philadelphia.

Panel members for the event will include Mary Beth Hanss, senior vice president and general counsel of SAP North America; Moji James, senior vice president and general counsel of Iroko Pharmaceuticals; and Lawrence A. Looby, vice president and general counsel of Dow Advanced Chemicals. The panel will be moderated by Aric Press, ALM vice president and editor-in-chief.
The discussion will include how GCs are dealing with the myriad external and internal issues confronting them; the biggest regulatory issues facing GCs and how to set internal controls to avoid potential problems; handling IP issues and labor and employment concerns; and how GCs deal with outside counsel and manage costs.
