Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney and Pepper Hamilton have each announced changes in leadership at one of their non-headquarters offices.
Monday, Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney named Philadelphia shareholder Joseph Dougherty as co-managing shareholder of its Philadelphia office. He will work with shareholder Howard Scher, who has served as managing shareholder in Philadelphia for some time.
Dougherty manages Buchanan's trade secrets and restrictive covenant practice. He was an attorney with Klett Rooney Lieber & Schorling before it merged with Buchanan Ingersoll in 2006.
Also Monday, Pepper Hamilton announced that Todd A. Feinsmith, a corporate restructuring and bankruptcy lawyer, has been named partner in charge of the firm's Boston office. The office, which opened in 2006, currently has 28 lawyers.
Lawyers in Pepper Hamilton's Boston office focus on patent litigation and other intellectual property matters, corporate and securities, corporate restructuring and bankruptcy, tax, commercial litigation, and serve clients in a variety of industries, including private equity, venture capital, life sciences, high-tech, retail and manufacturing.
Before joining Pepper in 2009, Feinsmith was a partner at Brown Rudnick in Boston.
